As we are off and running into 2026, I believe it is important to take time to reflect on what God did in the year prior. I encourage you to take time to write down some highlights on your phone, in a notebook or some place where you can be reminded of God’s goodness and His faithfulness in your life. I am so grateful for all that God continues to do in my life.

My Top Ten Highlights from 2025

1. Time with Family - Praise God for an amazing time with my wonderful family. I love being husband to Lisa and dad to Grace, Mabry and Kate. Our adventures, joys and even challenges together in 2025 all created life-long memories and drew us all even closer. My kids are growing up fast, and I am realizing more every day the goodness of God and the beauty of time together.

2. Sunday Mornings - I love Jesus, and I love His Church here at Rolling Hills! Our gathering every Sunday was incredible. From the parenting series, Easter, Masterclass, Revival, Christmas and every Sunday in between, I love gathering with God’s people to worship, study His Word and fellowship with brothers and sisters in Christ. Every Sunday in 2025 was so deep and rich.

3. NEXT - 2025 saw the completion of our 2-year Capital Campaign called “NEXT.” Our God truly did immeasurably more than all we could ever ask or imagine. The generosity of God’s people was so encouraging and inspiring. Lisa and I, and each of my kids, individually made the biggest pledges we have ever made to a campaign and we all completed them - thank you, Jesus. To see so many lives impacted both in 2025 and for generations to come was all worth it!

4. 427 people baptized in Christ in 24 months - This one fires me up and will stay with me for a lifetime. In NEXT, we talked about the NEXT 20 years of Rolling Hills, the NEXT Generation, the NEXT Ministry, the NEXT Mission and the NEXT One. Who could have dreamed the NEXT one would be 427 people baptized in Christ? This is eternity impact, and I am forever grateful.

5. The launch of the Every Day Matters podcast - 2025 launched this new podcast, and it has been amazing. I am so thankful for all the guests who joined in and shared their hearts in 2025. Every episode in Season 1 was incredible! What a difference God is making through this as we endeavor to raise up fully mature disciples in Jesus who live out our faith in the every day. Listen here. Watch here.

6. Amazon and Moldova Mission Trips - I love what our God is doing through Justice & Mercy International. The impact God is making in the Amazon, Moldova and Italy is transformational in the lives of precious children, godly pastors and the Kingdom overall. Also, there is nothing like serving the Lord on mission trips with your family and church family. Such amazing teams, ministry and Kingdom impact. I love Jesus, my family, His Church at Rolling Hills and JMI!

7. Revival 2025 - Wow! God showed up in a powerful way. As we studied the role, the presence and the power of the Holy Spirit, we were all inspired, challenged and changed by Revival 2025. I’m so grateful for Christine Caine, Katherine Wolf and all our RH Campus Pastors, Worship Teams, Tech Team, Core Team, Staff and more who helped make Revival such a time of prayer, worship and transformation. Serving, fasting and the many Baptisms made it so special.

8. RH Campuses and Community Center - 2025 was an amazing year of growth at all our RH Campuses and our local Community Center. Adding a new building for Nashville West, a new Connections Center for Nolensville, paying off Columbia, baptisms and groups all over the country for Online, starting construction on our new auditorium at Franklin and the addition of a Thrift Store at our Community Center at Nashville South. Praise God for what He is doing.

9. God’s faithfulness in the hard times - 2025 was one of the hardest years yet, personally. Mom’s passing to Heaven on Easter Sunday, Mabry off to college and a plane crash killing one of my close friends, his wife and stepdaughter. There were definitely heartbreaking times. Yet, our God was faithful through it all. I miss my mom and my friends, but by God’s grace, I know I will be with them in Heaven again one day. Thank You, Jesus.

10. Mom’s passing to Heaven - This gets its own highlight because my mom was a great mom. She loved Jesus, and she raised me in the Lord. She loved her Savior, her kids and many grandkids so well. She loved her church at Rolling Hills, and she passed on a legacy of faith to us all. 2025 will always remind me of my mom, and I will be forever grateful for her life and her faith in Jesus.

What are your highlights? I pray you can look back and see God’s Presence with you through the good times and even the hard times in 2025. “God’s mercies are new every morning. Great is His faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:23. As we enter 2026, we always know that God is already there. He has been with you in the past, and He will be faithful in the future. Let’s reaffirm our faith in Jesus and let’s live the rest of our lives, for however long He gives us on this earth, for His glory. Just know you are loved and appreciated today. Blessings on you in 2026 and beyond.
