Matthew 21:18-19 & 12-13 and Mark 11:12-14 & 15-18
Jesus shows that it is not about what you look like on the outside, but what God does in your heart. He makes it very clear that it is not about religion, but about a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Jesus says in John 15:5, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.” May we honestly look at our lives to see if we are bearing fruit for Christ. May we not be distracted by the things of this world, but remain in Christ and in Christ alone.
